trees and laurel hedging, was a central hard surfaced portion used far the storage o f various
item s One area dose to its north-w estern earner was surfaced w ith plastic and used for the
storage o f containerised tie e s and stvubs The rema-nder o f the northern side o f this pan was
and oemg used to store a w d e range o f equipm ent *n q m achinery concocted with
horticultures landscape gardening. There wero afco about ]0 boat trailers o i varying s lits on tN s
area, lh e ether nde o f the track was being used m ainly fo r storage of sm all boats. Three Boats
were stored m the open w ith various trailers. There was also a moveable plastic dad shefter,
•iskie which was a traditional 'char boat' undergoing repair. In the top corner of this cential
section were 2 buildings o< masonry construction. One stone and s*ate Curding was the onqinai
potting sued associated w ith this site a t a k tc n e n garden attached to Heathwa’te Manor i t was
being u ^ d for tne storage of small Itcmc o f m aterials, tools and equipm ent. A m ore modem
bloclrwork built 'potting shed' was fitted o u t witn benches and racks, and was used fo r sim ilar
goods. Im m ediately ta the east o f these 2 build n g s was a sizeable, plastic sheet clad polytunnel.
