How to successfully make a fruit smoothie

Performance Objective: Given a fully equipped kitchen with cutting board, knives, blender, 2
bananas, 1 mango, 9 strawberries, 0, 3 L milk, yogurt (any type), 3 ice cubes, cinnamon powder,
and cups, make a fruit smoothie that can be divided in 2 or more cups.

minerals and antioxidants that are highly
beneficial for our health?

Fruit smoothies are good for every occasion.


Explain WHY? They help people losing weight, detoxify the
body, boost brainpower and aid in digestion.
Smoothies are great for good health. Knowing
how to make good smoothies will give you
additional points in giving yourself and others
liquid tasty health.

Show and Tell

Wash your hands. Fights infections, removes germs. Wet your


hands with clean running water, turn off the
tap, apply soap and rub and scrub your hands
together for 10 seconds, rinse your hands under
running water and finally dry them with a clean
towel.
Gather the utensils you will use. Spares time. Identify the use of every utensil.
Connect the blender. Must be connected otherwise it will not work.
Gather all the ingredients you will use (fruits,
milk, yogurt, cinnamon, ice cubs). Set fruits ready

Place your fruits on the cutting board.

Peel the bananas and the mango. Remove the peel from the bananas. Use the
knife to peel the mango. Do it slowly and
carefully. Go around the mango with your

strawberries so they fit into your blender.

can use different fruits and a variety of add-ins,
as well as different types of yogurts, mil, or
fruit juice. It is valid to experiment.

made was.

Conclusion: Alright, last week we talked about the importance of fruits and dairy in our lives,
today we make a good smoothie and next week we will start checking information on how to
make our own healthy ice creams.
