1. Why social sciences and humanities are considered important disciplines or
fields of study?
 We all know that social sciences is the study of the activities of the physical and
social environment. Basically it is the study of human relations and humanities. It
is a very important field of study because it helps us gain knowledge about the
society we live in. Generally, it is essential because it deals and focuses on the
world we live in and gives us tools on what we would like to be in the future.
Through this studies we can understand one another, despite all of our
differences we can learn respect and also the essence of living in this world.

2. Why are social sciences, social studies and humanities interconnected, inter-
related or sometimes overlapping, and are deemed inseparable?
 Social science, social studies and humanities are closely related because all of
this studies deals with human beings and their culture. Although they also have
differences in the way that social sciences studies the natural world while
humanities studies the inner world I can still say that they are deemed
inseparable because both of them deals with the study of human behavior and
interaction in social, cultural, environmental, economic and political context.
