4 April 4, 1967 MLK announces his opposition to US actions in Vietnam. The National
conference for new politics was a coalition of peace and civil rights groups. MLK and
Dr Spock were to be presidential candidates.
5 “Lyndon Johnson’s Brown and Root” had multibillion dollar government contracts.
6 The Poor People's March on DC was scheduled for April 1968. MLK was in
Memphis to support a sanitation workers’ strike.
9 Ralph Abernathy followed MLK as leader of SCLC, and was succeeded by Rev.
Joseph Lowery in 1977.
10 House Select Committee on assassinations report on. MLK came out Jan 1979, and
said Ray was the lone shooter, in 73 volumes.
11 SCLC was founded in 1957 and marked as a target for COMINFIL- Communist
Infiltration. COINTELPRO operations began in October 1962.
An estimated 20 burglaries were done to MLK and SCLC between 1959 and 1964.
12 FBI had an informant on the executive team of SCLC who was also embezzling
funds.
13 Frank Liberto was heard shouting on the phone to kill MLK just before MLK was
shot. Louisville police officer Clifton Baird testified before the HSCA that Louisville
police officers, collaborated with FBI with a $500K contract to kill MLK.
15 Jan 1968, Sam Giancana, Carlo Gambino, John Roselli met three feds in Apalachin,
NY who announced a $1 million contract on King’s life. Giancana said no.
16 James Harrison, on SCLC executive team, was working for al Sentinella, out of
Atlanta FBI office from 1964 to 1965, on the day King was shot Harrison was in
Memphis meeting with Jensen, Memphis FBI.
18 The Liberto family in Memphis and New Orleans was involved. Lloyd Jowers owned
Jim’s Grill and found the rifle outside his café, and showed it to waitress there..
19 Bill Sartor, stringer for Time magazine, working on the connection of Marcello /
Liberto to King’s assassination was murdered in 1971.
