The correct way to wear your uniform

1. The armlet is worn on the right arm

as a base for fastening the badges.
2. The Name tag should be above the BB anchor.
3. The Uniform must be clean and neatly ironed.
4. The belt bucket must be placed at the
centre position.
5. Wear black socks at all times.
6. The black shoe must be clean

 In addition, the following will be inspected during parade:

8. Your fingernails must be neatly cut.

Why do we salute?

Saluting is a way of showing respect to a person of a higher

rank.

When do we salute?
1. Hoisting of flag or lowering of flag
2. When you meet an officer
3. When being dismissed at the end of the parade
4. When you are called to receive prizes or award
from an officer or inspecting officer
