In the light of the moona little egglayon a leaf.

One Sunday morningthe warm suncame up and –pop!—out of the eggcamea tiny and very hungry

caterpillar.

The caterpillaratethrough one nice green leaf, and after that hefeltmuch better.

Nowhewasn’thungry any more—and he wasn’ta little caterpillarany more.

Hewasa big, fat caterpillar.

Hebuilta small house, called a cocoon, around himself. Hestayedinsidefor more than two weeks. Then

henibbleda holein the cocoon, pushedhis wayoutand …

hewasa beautiful butterfly!
