    Direction: Create a boat or vinta using local materials applying your knowledge on the elements
    and principles of art in making the design.

    1. Based on your output, what are the elements and principles of art did you apply in your
    artwork?
    The elements of art that I applied to my artwork are lines, shapes, value, colors, and
    texture. The principles of art that I applied to my artwork are balance, contrast,
    emphasis, rhythm, and pattern.

    2. How did the activity help you appreciate Mindanao art style?
    It helps me to understand and appreciate the art style of Mindanawons. It also help
    me how important the culture of Mindanao is.
