We are currently in a pandemic. We are far from going back to normal. In this COVID-19 pandemic,
these are the top three things that I am most thankful for; First one is TIME. The time we have been given
during this pandemic was both been a blessing and somehow have been a test. I have mostly been
thankful for this. I have had the time to spend more with my family which is often been taken for granted.
I have gotten to know my family on a different level than I have used. I did not know I could know them
more than I have now. Time that I have been able to know myself better. I have discovered some parts of
me that I never knew existed. Parts of me that made me better as a person. Time to develop my flaws
along with accepting them. Time to feel, to love and to matter. The second one, FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I
have been able to spend more time with them, got to know them more as been said. They have also acted
as a support system, guide during this pandemic. I would not know how I could have gone through this
without them. The provided me food, care, and everything that I could ever need. Friends that have been
with me through my sleepless nights especially when working with school activities, nights when I feel sad
and alone, and just nights when I feel happy and alive. I am so thankful that they are still with me right
now healthy and alive. Finally, LIFE. As it is the most essential, I am so thankful that I am still living. I still
get to wake up every single day. I thank God for it. I thank God that my family is still complete, and
everyone is healthy. Families after this pandemic will be out incomplete. For that I am very grateful. Amid
this hurt that we are going through, I know we are going out of this pandemic stronger and better. All the
top three things that I have mentioned are the things that made me a lot stronger while I am going through
this pandemic. We, as a family and people, are going to be tied together as we strive towards the
betterment of ourselves with the TIME that we have, FAMILY AND FRIENDS that are still here for me, with
me and in me. LIFE, that no matter whatever else we go through after this COVID-19 pandemic, LIFE will
simply teach me to be more grateful, to strive to achieve happiness, to become selfless and be resilient
enough to survive everything else that will come next. I will get through this with the TIME that I have
with my FAMILY AND FRIENDS, and the LIFE that revolves around everything we are in. The future right
now is still uncertain. But I know I will always be thankful for all the things that made me get better and
made me become the person that I have become today and the days to come.
