TOPIC 2: PRODUCTIVITY MANAGEMENT

Coach:

“We can’t manage time; we can just manage ourselves with the time given”. Thank you Coach for this
reminder.
This topic talks about a skill that make us help finish task for the given time, for the day. We really need
to finish important task in a given time… to be more productive, accomplish essential task.

At this time, we really want to get smarter in learning the application of Goal setting, Prioritization,
scheduling, managing intentions and anti-procrastination. Each of this has the role to make us WIN. To
win means to complete our task efficiently and effectively,

I’ve learned here that TIME is simply a tool! So, we should use time to make us productive. Productivity
management is a set of skills that help people and teams improve productivity. It’s a key aspect of
people management, where leaders use incentives, goals, development and communication techniques
to help employees and teams increase their productivity.

If only we can perfect this skill, his could give us more benefits. People around us can see the best side in
us. Many will see us as someone they could rely on. This can give us a good reputation in a professional
world. This could increase opportunities in a more advance way and could be less stressful.

In our present situation most of us is on work from home and some resources stated that working from
home had positively impacted productivity… some have even lost their jobs.

As a reflection, I guess I should better my personal productivity. The balance between my input (how
much effort I give in and my output). I need also to look at productivity holistically in terms of wellbeing,
too. It’s widely known that there’s a connection between productivity and stress: The more stressed
someone is, the less productive they’re likely to be, while a drop in productivity may be a sign that
there’s something wrong with a person’s mental wellbeing. This is the reason why we need to remove
distractions as stated in the webinar. We need to find a quiet space to work, to let others know our
schedule, to have a meeting agenda and lastly to say NO to interruptions.

With these tips and method, I’m sure we could be more productive but less stress.
