TABLE TENNIS (BOYS AND GIRLS)

1. The game will be best of 3 sets of 11 points each.


2. Semi-Finals and Finals will be best of 5 sets of 11 points each.
3. Maximum number of participants from each department will
be 2.
4. Every participant is requested to bring their own bat.
5. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned time will
lead to a walkover to the opponent.
6. Referee’s decision will be the final decision. No arguments or
misbehaviour will be entertained.

VOLLEYBALL(BOYS)
1. Team Size: 6 + 3(subustitutes)
2. The teams will have to play 2 sets of 25 points each
and and a 15 point game in case of tie-breaker.
3. Maximum of 3 hits per side will be allowed during the
possession of the ball.
4. In case of catching or throwing the ball, a point will be
awarded to the opponent team.
5. A Single player cannot hit the ball twice in succession.
6. A player should not cross the center line under any
circumstance during a match.
7. All the players must be wearing proper shorts or Track
pants. No jeans will be allowed.
8. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No argument
or misbehaviour will be entertained.
9. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned
time will lead to a walkover to the opponent.
FOOTBALL(BOYS)
1. Team Size: 8 + 3(substitutes)
2. Each half will be of 10 minutes.
3. Rolling substitution will be allowed during the match.
4. The offside rule will not be applicable during the matches.
5. In case of a draw match, there will be penalty shootout,
each team will be given 3 penalties.
6. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No argument or
misbehaviour will be entertained.
7. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned time
will lead to a walkover to the opponent.

BASKETBALL(BOYS AND GIRLS)

1. Team Size: 5 + 3(substitutes)


2. 2 Halfs of ten minutes each.
3. Rolling substitutiuons will be allowed.
4. In case of a tie, the match will continue in an overtime
of 5 minutes.
5. A Player committing more than 4 fouls will be kept
fouled out for the rest of the game.
6. Maximum of Two timeouts will be allowed for each
team during one half.
7. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No argument
or misbehaviour will be entertained.
8. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned
time will lead to a walkover to the opponent.
CRICKET(BOYS)

1. Team Size: 8 + 3(substitutes)


2. Match will be of 6 overs.
3. 2 bowlers will be allowed to bowl 2 overs maximum, and 2
bowlers will be allowed to bowl 1 over.
4. In case of a Wide ball, the ball will be counted and 3 runs will
be allotted.
5. In case of a tie, the matches in quarter finals will be decided by
coin toss and the matches in semi-finals and finals will be
decided by a super over.
6. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No argument or
misbehaviour will be entertained.
7. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned time will
lead to a walkover to the opponent.

FUTSAL(GIRLS)

1. Team size: 5 +3(substitutes)


2. No offsides during the match.
3. Rolling substitution will be allowed during the match.
4. Each half will be of 7 minutes.
5. In case of a draw match, there will be penalty shootout, each
team will be given 3 penalties.
6. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No argument or
misbehaviour will be entertained.
7. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned time will
lead to a walkover to the opponent.
CARROM(BOYS AND GIRLS)
1. Only doubles teams, no singles allowed.
2. Each game will be of 2 Boards.
3. Maximum of two teams will be allowed from each
department.
4. The size of the striker will be fixed.
5. The teammates will not be allowed to talk during the game.(
No Decision Board)
6. Judge Fine is applicable.
7. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No argument or
misbehaviour will be entertained.
8. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned time
will lead to a walkover to the opponent.

QUIZ

GENERAL ROUND ( SELECTION)

1. Two questions for each Team. Each question carries 10 Marks.


2. If the allotted team is unable to answer, the question will be
passed on to the next team.
3. If any team answers the passed question, they will be awarded
5 marks.
4. No negative marking in this Round.

FINAL ROUND

1. This Round will consist of 8-10 questions.


2. 15 marks will be allowed for each right answer.
3. 5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
4. 60 seconds will be given to answer each question.
5. Buzzer raising or hand raising would be preferred for
answering the question.

BADMINTON (BOYS AND GIRLS)

1. There will be 3 sets of 11 points each.


2. Maximum of 2 players will be allowed from each department.
3. On the line call will be considered as in.
4. There will be service point.
5. Only Diagonal serve will be allowed, on 2nd court.
6. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No argument or
misbehaviour will be entertained.
7. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned time will
lead to a walkover to the opponent.

TUG OF WAR (BOYS AND GIRLS)


1. Team Size: 6 + 3(substitutes)
2. 3 rounds per game (Boys)
3. 1 round per game (Girls)
4. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No argument or
misbehaviour will be entertained.
5. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned time
will lead to a walkover to the opponent.

ARM WRESTLING (BOYS)

1. Maximum of two participants from each department will be


allowed.
2. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the assigned time will
lead to a walkover to the opponent.
THROWBALL (GIRLS)
1. Team Size: 6 + 3(substitutes)
2. There will be only 1 set of 25 points.
3. The ball is to be caught only by using the palm. Body
touch at any time during the game is point for the
opponent team.
4. The service is to be done from the extreme corner of
the last row.
5. Any ball after catching should be released within 3
seconds.
6. The ball has to be caught with both hands and returned
in one hand only.
7. Any ball to be released should be released from above
the shoulder or shoulder-line only.
8. Double touch is not allowed for receiving the service
ball.
9. The ball should not touch the net during the service.
10. Referee’s decision will be final decision. No
argument or misbehaviour will be entertained.
11. Failing to reach the tournament spot on the
assigned time will lead to a walkover to the opponent.
DRAMA

1. Team Size: maximum 24(including musicians)


2. Time limit: 15 + 2(including stage and lights set up)
3. Open Theme
4. Usage of any curse words will lead to disqualification.
5. Use of fire or explosives is prohibited.
6. Exceeding the allotted time limit will lead to deduction of
points.
7. Props required from the college ( e.g. : no. Of chairs,
tables, etc.) should be informed to the event
coordinators.
8. Failure to reach the performance venue on time will lead
to disqualification

DEBATE
1. Teams: 1 Team of 2 members.
2. Speaking time: 4+1 minutes followed by rebuttal
questions.
3. Topic will be announced on the morning of the debate.
4. Reference to any kind of written material is prohibited.
5. Use of unparliamentary language shall result in
immediate disqualification.
6. The participant must be in formals.
7. Standard Oxford style of debating rules apply.
TREASURE HUNT

1. Team size: 4(maximum)


2. Maximum of two teams is allowed from each department.
3. All the players should move from one flag point to another, if
they fail to do so, even after they reach the next point their
next task will not start.
4. Each team will receive a maximum of two clues in the whole
event.
5. Teams cannot skip a point and go to the next point.
6. Teams cannot get the next clue until a task is completed at the
previous point.
7. Failing to obey the rules can lead to disqualification.

10 MINUTES TO FAME

1. There is no limit for the number of participants.


2. Time limit: 10 + 2 (includes stage set up, lights and every
preparation)
3. Exceeding the time limit for the performance will result in
negative marking.
