ENGLISH ASSIGNMENT FORMAL DISCUSSION (CONVERSATION) ABOUT ANEMIA

That afternoon, a mother and her daughter approached a nutritionist to ask about the condition of
their child who often experiences fatigue, dizziness, and shortness of breath.

Mother : Assalamualaikum, good afternoon ma'am

Nutritionist : Waalaikumussalam, good afternoon too. Please sit down ma'am ...

Is there anything I can help ma'am?

Mother : So, this is my daughter who often has headaches, gets tired and dizzy. Right, kid?

Child : Yes mom, this feels really weak.

Nutritionist : Okay... what was your daughter name ? And how old is she?

Child : Acha, 15 years old ma’am..

Nutritionist : Apart from headaches, fatigue and dizziness, what else did Acha experience?

Child : Chest pain and forgetfulness easily ma'am

Nutritionist : Alright enough Cha. So, from the description of the symptoms that ma'am and
Acha have conveyed, it is likely that Acha is suffering from anemia, ma'am. Because
the symptoms mentioned earlier are very similar to the symptoms of anemia.
Moreover, Acha is already a teenager and has menstruation every month.

Mother : Astagfirullah, so how is that, ma'am?

Nutritionist : Look ma'am, it's better if you take Acha to the hospital to make a diagnosis, later
there will be blood tests to determine the condition of anemia suffered by Acha.

Mother : Fine ma'am, besides that, is there anything else ma'am?

Nutritionist : Acha is advised to consume foods that contain iron, vitamin B12, and folic acid.
Such as spinach, peanuts, liver or offal, milk, cheese, eggs, broccoli and oranges.
Avoid consuming caffeinated drinks and drinking vitamin C so that the body can
absorb more iron from food.

Mother : Okay, thank you ma'am. After this i will take acha to the hospital. Assalamualaikum.

Nutritionist : You're welcome, ma'am. Waalaikumussalam, be careful on your way, ma'am.
