Jillian: "Good afternoon, Ms. Ricardo! May the Good Lord bless
you."
Alec: "Good afternoon to you as well, my dear Jillian. May the Good
Lord bless you, too."
Alec: "Please stay quiet."
Jillian: (nods politely) ...
Alec: "I'd kindly like to ask you regarding your attendance in one of
your classes, so please be honest about it."
Jillian: "Okay, Ma'am. Can I please ask what subject are you talking
about?"
Alec: "It is Literature..."
Jillian: (nods nervously as she looks down)
Alec: "So, I've heard from your Literature teacher that you are
continuously absent from her class and that you only enter it
whenever the time's necessary."
Alec: "She also told me just a few hours ago that you have missed
more than three assignments, tests, quizzes, and short activities
that are related to her subject. Is that true?"
Jillian: "Go ahead, Ma'am. I'll note that."
Alec: "(nods emotionlessly) Okay. But other than that, it is also
rumored that you haven't done the Performance Task in Literature
yet. Is that also true?"
Jillian: "I apologize, Ma'am. I didn't know that I have missed a lot of
modules."
Jillian: "I also have a lot of overdue homework, Ma'am."
Alec: "All right."
Alec: "But the Performance Task is the biggest component for that
subject, and it will define more than half of your grades. That is
why you must do it later."
Alec: "I'm only giving you reminders because I do not want you to
fail for this school year. Otherwise, you won't be a part of the
medalists again."
Alec: "Is that understood?"
Jillian: "Yes, Ma'am."
Alec: "Your Literature teacher told me that you should only submit
your missing assignments on or before tomorrow. Otherwise, you'll
get a zero."
Jillian: "Thank you, Ma'am! I will do that as soon as possible. I will
be notifying you if I already completed them all."
Alec: "Glad to hear that, I will be checking your account from time
to time to see if you are really accomplishing your homework."
Alec: "Thank you for attending and taking the time to understand
today's agenda, Jillian."
Jillian: "No problem, Ma'am. I'll see you again tomorrow."
