A paranormal experience?
Ghosts, haunted houses and spirits have fascinated humans since the beginning of their existence. Most
people, believers or sceptics, find paranormal experiences captivating; they enjoy listening to these kinds of
stories. But the debate is about the stories experienced by people: Are they real or not? I personally don’t
believe them. I think mind is so powerful that can encroach reality for weak minds. However, my point of view
changed one day.
I myself experienced a paranormal event. Two years ago, my cousin Penny died. She was such a joker. Her
husband, who is a great ghost sceptic, couldn’t find the life insurance policy. One night, Penny appeared in
my dreams.

You smell awful – I said to her

Of course, I smell awful, I´m dead, stupid !!! – she said.

She told me where the documents were. Suddenly I woke up with

all my heart at the edge of my tongue. I couldn´t believe myself.
My head grew big. I had three questions in mind. First, Why me?
She could talk to her husband. So, there must be a reason. Second,
if my paranormal encounter was not true, why is she still sarcastic
to me? The way she treated me, that´s exactly the way she
treated to me all her life. Always with a joke in her mouth.
Anyway, I never said that to her husband. I went to his house took
the documents and told him that I once saw her putting the
document there. I know he would never believe me. I know how
sceptics are.
