TASK – 01
Introduction
Company Brief
The company provides healthcare services, including hospital treatment and testing. Many of the
company's facilities include critical care wards and neonatal intensive care units; dialysis units;
operating rooms; an intensive care unit; an emergency medical service unit, ultrasound scanning;
a pharmacy; mobile electrocardiograms; and X-rays with image intensifying and screen. The
company also offers testing in fields such as clinical pathology, hematology, microbiology, and
immunology.[ CITATION Asi21 \l 1033 ].
Project Overview
Before Procter & Gamble in 1999, Kevin Ashton was the first to mention the Internet of Things
(P&G). In short, IoT refers to a network of physical things that are connected to the internet so
that they may transmit and receive data, as well as exchange it. You may make things
communicate to one other by using this network. IoT makes life and work easier and more
efficient. Among its numerous benefits, the Internet of Things automates household services with
the aid of smart gadgets.
6
Figure 2IOT
The Internet of Things (IoT) also gives businesses a clear view of how their systems are doing
and provides information into the operation of devices and logistical processes [ CITATION
MPa18 \l 1033 ]. Diverse enterprises can benefit from the Internet of Things. Industry-specific or
cross-industry advantages might be found. To put it another way, the Internet of Things has an
impact on a wide range of businesses including finance as well as manufacturing and healthcare
Objectives
On the topic of health care and IoT, this project will be discussed. As a result of population
increase, urbanization, aging, economic growth, and the use of socially fragile resources, the
government places a higher priority on healthcare. Many of these societal problems are related to
health care. These problems might be avoided if IoT systems were implemented in the following
way:
For example, in emergency situations, IoT aids the health management team in
responding quickly.
7
Primarily in remote regions with a dearth of medical facilities and personnel
The healthcare system is insufficient, resulting in substandard treatment and a shortage of
medical services.
Preventable illnesses are not prevented, and they are not detected in advance.
However, the Internet of Things (IoT) may be used to solve problems in the healthcare sector,
including as
Project Plan
A healthcare firm maintains online medical facilities and builds on the technological trends
necessary to evaluate its IOT implementation requirements. A IoT evaluation and action plan
consisting of improvisation systems with technology tools for monitoring patients, therapy of
patients, diagnosis of disease, and so on is the proposed answer.
Purpose
The project's goal is to examine the medical treatment methods that are presently being used in
the specified health care sector, as well as to assess the necessity for IOT deployment in medical
treatments and healthcare administration in order to improve efficiency and productivity.

Project quality
The quality of a project as a manager is the most essential aspect to consider, since the
completion of the project is at danger if its management is unable to maintain quality. As an
investigator, I take the time restrictions and resources of the firm into consideration and make the
best possible choice.

TASK – 02
quantitative research
A broad selection of respondents and a series of mostly closed questions will give small
companies who understand the quality of quantitative research a precise image of its target
markets. Quantitative market research is organized more than qualitative research techniques by
virtue of its statistical nature. A postal survey, for example, is a quantitative research approach
based on paper. Methods computed include online surveys and calling.
enables busy businesses to rapidly and efficiently collect enormous volumes of data,
giving a wide range of your target market, which stretches beyond your participants.
Your firm may be assured of a comprehensive set of quantitative survey data when it
makes future decisions.
A quantitative questionnaire may be anonymous, enabling individuals with absolute
honesty and openness to deal with delicate problems[ CITATION Alm16 \l 1033 ].
qualitative research
Qualitative research is a study technique which focuses on the feeling, believing and making
specific decisions of persons. When you think about changing your branding, perform some kind
of qualitative research to understand about your new identity's emotional reactions. Single-on-
one or in one focus group quality research can be carried out.
one-on-one interviews
Direct individual interviews are a personalized approach of collecting input. This might be a
more appropriate type of qualitative market research for you if the discussion topic is very
16
personal or sensitive. The interview may be performed via telephone or in person.[ CITATION
Fra13 \l 1033 ].
A Gantt chart is a diagram that shows the progress of a project. A Gantt chart is a common
project management tool; it is a form of bar chart that depicts the timetable of a project.
The chart provides for the organization and display of project activities and tasks in relation to
pre-determined timeframes[ CITATION CLA23 \l 1033 ].
A graphical representation of the flow or sequence of events that a product or service follows; it
includes all operations, decision points, rework loops, and handoffs.
Process maps enable the project to visualize the process, agree on the phases of a process, and
analyze whether tasks are duplicated.
Process maps are used to capture both existing and new process information.
17
Determine the flow of a process.
Determine who is in charge of which company functions.
Display the hand-off between functions clearly.
Determine the difference between value-added and non-value-added operations.
The Data Management Plan (DMP) specifies the responsibilities for entering, owning,
distributing, validating, modifying, and storing primary research data.
A data management strategy must not only represent project requirements, but also adhere to
institutional, state, and federal norms and legislation. The DMP Tool outlines your agency's
requirements, including REDCap language suggestions, and outputs a correctly structured plan.
DMP Tool
DMP Tool Instructions
Project Charter
The aim of the Project Charter is to specify at a high level what the Project Team will produce,
what resources will be required, and why it is justified[ CITATION Don12 \l 1033 ].
A commitment to devote the required time and resources to the project is also represented by the
Project Charter. It is especially beneficial when putting together a multidisciplinary, internally
financed team. The document should be succinct (up to three pages maximum).
Milestones are a good method to keep track of important progress in your research project.
A Gantt chart is a useful tool for establishing and monitoring milestones and deliveries. It's a A
form of bar chart that depicts the timeline of a project.

CHARACTERISTICS QUANTITATIVE QUALITATIVE
RESEARCH RESEARCH
TYPE OF DATA Phenomena are described Phenomena are described in a
numerically narrative fashion
ANALYSIS Descriptive and inferential Identification of major
statistics schemes
SCOPE OF INQUIRY Specific questions or Broad, thematic concerns
hypotheses
PRIMARY ADVANTAGE Large sample, statistical Rich, in-depth, narrative
validity, accurately reflects description of sample
the population
For example, if we want to live intelligence, we need a technique for correctly assessing a
person's intellect.
There are many types of validity that survey authors should strive for.
Internal Accuracy
The Department of Health and Human Services is trying to identify characteristics that affect
hair styling product selection in the United States. We are attempting to discover a link between
19
freelance factors (e.g., hair type, hairstyle, etc.) and variable hair styling products. This examines
if the questions we tend to generate will make a strong case for the final result. (e.g., likelihood
to shop for hair styling goods).
External precision
This refers to the extent to which the survey sample's results may be generalized to the target
population. As we are all aware, the manner in which we pose questions influences the answers
we receive.
In other words, the questions should reflect how the target audience speaks and views the issue
under consideration, which usually indicates the need for exploratory qualitative study.

I have made some recommendations for the Asiri Hospital based on the examination of the study
data utilizing acceptable tools and methodologies. The following are my recommendations:
Recommendations
Cloud Computing
The cloud computing integration into health-care based on IoT technologies must provide
ubiquitous access to shared resources, delivering services that require the network, and
conducting activities to fulfill the goal.
Grid Computing
Due to the detection of non intrusive and energy efficient broadcast communications
technologies that allow continual monitoring and control of the biomedical sensor nodes to help
27
mobile patients, the Grid Computing idea may be applied to the internet [ CITATION AJJ14 \l
1033 ]. Memory, power, connectivity, and processing capabilities are all constrained in these tiny
wearable devices. They are skilled in continuously monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure,
temperature, electrocardiogram (ECG), and electromyogram (EMG).
Big Data
In the healthcare context, all data given by medical sensors should be evaluated by developing
and monitoring technologies to improve the competence of health diagnosis.
Wearables
28
Adoption of wearables (i.e. medical gadgets) in terms of landmarks can offer patient
commitment and improvement in population health. This has three major benefits: gamification,
Ambient Intelligence
Because in a network of healthcare end-users and customers are either patients or health-
conscious individuals, the Ambient Intelligence application is an essential component of an IoT-
29
Hearables
Hearing-impaired people benefit from the assistance of healthcare wearables for effective health
management and a better listening experience with additional augmented options available in
various hearables.
Apple's AirPods offered a new function of live listening, which has greatly expanded
engagement options for hearing-impaired patients. These sorts of hearables help hundreds of
thousands of individuals simply by connecting to their cellphones[ CITATION Tec20 \l 1033 ].
Moodables
Moodables allow customers to receive excellent healthcare management by using low-intensity
currents to transmit stimuli to the brain. Furthermore, these head-mounted gadgets improve
mood on their own and enhance the efficacy of antidepressants[ CITATION ccs21 \l 1033 ].
30
Healthcare Charts
IoT assists in the maintenance of healthcare charts, which can eventually save doctors hours on
the recorded history of the patient, such as documenting test results or medication history that
they take. This technology activates voice instructions and allows data to be sent directly via an
encrypted network[ CITATION Fre19 \l 1033 ].
Cancer Treatment
The landscape of medicine is transformed by precision medicine and by the use of new medical
technology. Women should use iTBra for around 30 minutes once a month to prevent breast
cancer. The technique is being tested throughout Africa.specific hours that can aid in the accurate
detection of breast cancer [ CITATION MBa17 \l 1033 ]. This gadget may be worn like regular
underwear, and the results can be transmitted to a smart device.Smartphones are an example of a
device. As a result, the proposed method appears to be an efficient way to Breast cancer can be
avoided.
Monitors of Hygiene
The adoption of advanced surveillance techniques in hospitals can increase the safety of
medically admitted patients. Wireless sensors frequently exchange information to gateway
equipment in the mesh net and give a dashboard for the previously specified hygiene and safety
framework for both medical and operational providers.[ CITATION Wor20 \l 1033 ].
Sleep Monitors
IoT sleep monitoring devices track any problems linked with sleep disruption, such as (OSA)
obstructive sleep apnea in real time. These monitors are useful healthcare tools for identifying
human sleep-disturbing disorders[ CITATION Reb19 \l 1033 ].
31
Evaluate the selection of appropriate tools and techniques for accuracy and authenticity to
support and justify recommendations.
Respondent 1
According to a study, Asiri Premises' IoT initiative is helpful to everybody. The researchers said
that the facility is being given additional attention by patients interested in therapy. He said Asiri
has been good generally at the hospital.
Respondent 2
This answer was pleased with the results for an existing program from the installation of IoT. He
added that the hospital should do this regularly and have the right therapy and drugs. And to his
friends and neighbors, he would suggest Asiri.
Respondent 3
When the third responder asked about the potential of Asiri to attract patients and doctors
through the IoT deployment program, the business would be able to progress. You feel that the
hospital is rationally accountable and that the IoT program will help the hospital improve its
method of hospital administration. The responder claimed that the program would be helpful for
everybody and that he will advise people to receive medical supplies from Asiri since hospitals
are socially responsible and do better social jobs than other hospitals.
Respondent 4
The fourth reply was a satisfied Asiri Hospital patient. When I questioned her about her thoughts
on the hospital's new IoT program, she stated that the hospitals are wonderful and that she
receives treatments from them. She also advised her friends to try the IoT treatment techniques
and e-channeling. Because the hospital facilitates ethical treatment and makes steps to create a
sustainable healthcare environment that is beneficial to all Asiri patients and physicians. As a
result, the respondent's overall judgment was favorable, and the respondent was a devoted patient
of the hospital.
32
TASK – 04
Project objectives and learning experience
The Asiri Hospital's research technique is the finest way of research for supporting new medical
treatment aspects and commercial analyses. To fulfill the project's objectives, both qualitative
and quantitative research methods are used efficiently. The study suggests that the hospital need
some hospital in the best places, and that the organization should reduce the price of IoT goods.
The project manager's workload has been reduced as a result of the task split.
The Gantt chart also specifies the task's duration, allowing the management to complete the work
within the project's time constraints.
33
Own learning and performances
Cost control
As a member of the Asiri Hospital group's research team, I've learned how to keep project costs
under control. Management is the most essential aspect of every project, and I have a lot of ideas
and strategies for project cost control.
Negotiation skills
I had to speak with a large number of individuals and delegates about the project while operating
it. As a result, I have a solid concept of how to handle stakeholders and make excellent deals
with clients. As a result, this is a valuable lesson for me.
Communication skills
The ability to communicate is the most essential aspect or attribute of a manager. When I first
started the project, I had limitations in communicating with the patients, but at the end of it, I had
a plethora of techniques and processes in place to easily interact with the hospital's patients.
