Bhirawa started as a small rolling mill producing flat bar and square bar
in 1973. As the very first mill in Indonesia, we had nothing to rely on but
existing technology and trustworthy colleagues. At the infant stage of
industry, we produced a total of 7,000 MT annually Œ.
Due to sharp increase of the local demand and fast development of the
country; in a span of seven years we had two major expansion projects
culminating in multifold production capacity. Along with increasing our
capacity, we also strived constantly in improving our quality & technology.
Until late 1980’s we concentrated only on the local market where in the
production capacity of our plant was 15,000 MT per year . However, in
