CONGRATULATI ONS!

On 19 March 2011 Racheal Fenwick married her childhood sweetheart Mark McInerney at Sevenhill Church, followed by
a stunning reception at St Andrews (Taylors Wines). We would like to congratulate Mark and Rach on their nuptials and
wish them all the best in the future!

In the last few months we have been blessed with lots of little babies (future club members!) with the most recent bubba
‘Flynn David Parkinson’ born on April 1st. Congratulations Lisa and Dave on the safe arrival of your newest family member
– we can’t wait to meet him!

A massive congratulations go to Grace Redden and Emma Jordan (past netballers for Hawks) for making the senior A
Grade netball team for Sacred Heart College where they are undertaking their secondary school studies. Grace and
Emma trialed against 70 other girls from year’s 10-12 and were 2 of 3 girls chosen from year 10 to represent the Senior A
Grade level (normally consisting of only year 12s). Considering there is also a Year 10 A Grade level at the school, it is an
excellent achievement for Grace and Emma. The girls will be off to Sydney in June to compete in the Marist Netball
Carnival and following this, competing at Assumption College in Victoria in August. Congrats again girls, you’ve made
your club proud!

PLAYER REGI STRATION 2011

Thankyou to all of those players who have submitted their player registration form – we have over 90% of forms returned
which is great! For those who haven’t filled in their player registration form please print, fill out the ‘player registration
form' on our Facebook page / scribd account and place in the GREEN folder in the clubrooms by Thursday 14 April
2011. This will ensure that we have all our paperwork completed before the start of the season. If you have any questions

Senior Player Manager

Just a reminder to all players that Paula Noack is our club’s Senior Player Manager. Paula is the official conduit between
players and the executive committee, so if you have any concerns or positive comments regarding your experience
with our club, Paula is there to assist you in any way shape or form! Paula’s email address is paula.noack@bigpond.com

Senior Uniforms
Senior Uniforms (bodysuits) are available from Kerry Heinrich each Thursday night prior to 7pm. Bodysuits are $90 and
socks are $10 a pair. Please bring correct change on the day.
Does your body suit velcro need fixing? If so, please contact Mary Connell as she will can organise your velcro to be
replaced. Please contact Mary Connell on 08 8847 2049 or email to arrange your suit to be fixed today!

JUNI OR NETBALL

Junior Uniforms
The RSMU NC have purchased junior netball uniforms for all junior players (J1-J4). These uniforms are handed to players
prior to their game, are collected by the coach at the end of each game and washed prior to the following game. The
hire cost per junior player is $25.00 and is payable with junior subs to Jackie Bruce prior to the third game (7 May 2011).
Please note also that all juniors MUST wear the registered RSMU netball socks this year, which are available from Trish
Clarke or Kerry Heinrich at Junior Training’s prior to the first game for $10.

Working Bee
Trish Clarke is heading up a working bee on Thursday 14 April 2011, during the junior training session. It would be fantastic
if those parents who attend junior training would be able to help Trish out for ½ hour or so to tidy the clubrooms and
courts ready for our first match. Your help will be very much appreciated.

NEW UMPI RES NEEDED!!!

As we all know, netball games can’t go ahead without umpires, and our club is in need of some fresh new, energetic
umpires to step up! Experience is not essential, and Di McInerney is keen to organise some training nights for our umpires
to ensure we are delivering the best quality umpiring for our club. So if you are interested in umpiring please contact Di
McInerney, Umpire's Coordinator on the below details.
Also, Di needs to know who is available to umpire this year, with preferred times/grades so she can start to plan her
