Note 2958296 Pre-Implementation Steps

Create Table Type:

This step is applicable only when your system has SAP_APPL version is 600/602/603/604 or
for below SAP_BASIS releases.

• Execute transaction code SE11.


• Choose Data Type radio button and give input as J_1IG_JVDTL_TT and click on Create button.
• Choose Table type option and click on Enter key.
• Give Short Description as ‘Table Type for J_1IG_JVDTL’.
• Give Row Type as J_1IG_JVDTL.
• Save it under the package J1I_GST_LO and activate it.

Create Enhancement Spot and BAdI:

If your system has SAP_APPL release as 600 or 602or 603; SAP_BASIS release is 700 and support
package level is up to SAPKB70008, then follow below steps to create the BAdI definition.

• Execute transaction code SE18. Choose Enhancement Spot.


• Give input as J1IG_ENH_JV and click on create button.
• Click on Create button on the screen.
• Give BAdI definition name as J1IG_BADI_JV and interface name as IF_EX_J1IG_INTF_JV.
• Choose Usability as Multiple Use.
• Choose Instance Creation Mode as Newly Creating Instantiation.
• Save it under package J1I_GST_LO.

• Double click on Interface IF_EX_J1IG_INTF_JV and enter method attributes as given below.
• Method name as FILL_BAPI_EXTENSION_FOR_JV, level as Instance and Description as ‘Fill BAPI
Extension for Journal Voucher’.
• Mention parameters as shown below.

• Click on Back button and activate both Enhancement Spot and BAdI Definition.
