Course Description
New Headway Plus Special Edition Elementary try to guide the students to an understanding
of the new language, rather than just have one example of it on the page. The course contains
great importance to practice activities, both controlled and free, personalized and impersonal.
The skills work come from a wide range of material- newspapers, magazines, biographies,
short stories, radio programs- and features both British and American English.

Course Goals
This course briefly revises level A1, and then takes the trainee through level A2 which
corresponds to the Cambridge Key English Test (KET) examination. The target preparation level
for this course will be preparation sufficient to sit the KET exam.

Upon successful completion of this course, each trainee will be able to:
 Demonstrate a linguistic range (lexical, grammatical, and phonological) at Level (A2) of
the Common European Framework Reference for Languages

 Communicate in simple, everyday situations within the KSA and in a global arena.

 Sit for the IELTS and successfully achieve a score of 4 or higher.

Classroom Protocol
Level 2 course is based 6 English classes a day each lasts for 50 minutes.
The trainees must follow the listed classroom protocols:
 Tardy trainees are not allowed to enter the classroom after the class starts
 Phones and other electronic devices are not allowed to be used unless they are permitted
by the teacher
 No food or drinks are allowed into the classroom except for bottled water
 Trainees should bring all the necessary material (Notebooks, Textbooks, pens, pencils,
…………etc)
 Bathroom breaks are not allowed while the class is in progress
