Teachers also can find detailed introduction to the courses pacing calendars, and pacing guides that
will help them in the faculty G-drive that will be shared with them by the academic management. All
instructors are required to follow the lesson plans and activity guides to extend and enhance these
plans as well. That said, they must ensure that first and foremost they stay at pace according to the
Course’s Pacing Calendar.
Progress Test
If the Progress Test is missed, and a student has an excuse which has been approved by student
services, student will be allowed to take the Make-up Progress Test.
Midterm Exam
If the Midterm Exam is missed, and a student has an excuse which has been approved by student
services, student will be allowed to take the Make-up Midterm Exam.
Final Exam
If a student fails to attend the Final Exam, she will be given a zero for that examination. In that case,
her course grade will be calculated based on her class work and other assessment scores earned in
the course.
However, if the failure to attend the final exam was due to circumstances beyond her control, the
student may request a make-up final exam. In such a case, the advisor will submit her report to
Deputy of Academic Affairs and then to the Deanship Council. The Deputy will inform the student of
the Council’s decision. If the petition is accepted by the Council, the student will be informed of the
date of the Make-up Final Exam.
