Course Description

New Headway Plus Special Edition Beginner is a foundation course for adults and
young adults true beginners. It is also suitable for students who had already learned a
little English, perhaps some years ago, but who do not feel confident enough to move
on. They want to go back before they move forward.

Course Goals

Students should be able to demonstrate mastery of the English grammatical structures and
vo cabulary essential for oral and written communication tasks at CEFR: A1

Upon successful completion of this course, each trainee will be able to:

Demonstrate a basic linguistic competence (lexical, grammatical and phonological) to express


basic information through level A1 of the Common European Framework Reference (CEFR)
within the KSA and in a global arena.

Classroom Protocol
Level 1 course is based 6 English classes a day each lasts for 50 minutes. The trainees must
follow the listed classroom protocols:

 Tardy trainees are not allowed to enter the classroom after the class starts
 Phones and other electronic devices are not allowed to be used unless they are
permitted by the teacher
 No food or drinks are allowed into the classroom except for bottled water
 Trainees should bring all the necessary material (Notebooks, Textbooks, pens, pencils,
…………etc)
 Bathroom breaks are not allowed while the class is in progress
