Who am I
Mike Maceranka
• In 2005 I had the unique opportunity to start the Segerstrom High School
Football Program. Our school opened in 2005 with freshmen and
sophomores. I was hired in February of 2005 and had to order everything
football related and build the weight room.
• The following Power Point describes the steps I went through in creating our
Program.
• We just finished our 3rd year of Varsity football and had our first winning
season (6-4) and made our first appearance in the CIF Playoffs (37-40
loss). This was our first four year graduating class. Our Freshmen went 10-0
and our JV finished 9-1. Both were League Champions.
• Our varsity team finished the season ranked 3rd in the county in rushing and
5th in scoring out of 73 schools.
