1. What advantages and disadvantages would face the entrepreneur introducing a
new hospitality service?
 The Collins dictionary describes ‘entrepreneur’ as the ‘owner of the manger of a
business enterprise who, by risk and initiative, attempt to make profits.’
entrepreneur may be used to describe both those who own businesses and also those
who manage them. Starting your own business as an entrepreneur can be one of the
most rewarding experiences that life offers. It's also important to keep a certain
level of perspective about this process. The advantages and disadvantages of
entrepreneurship attempt to balance the risk of a new idea with the rewards. The
first advantage of an entrepreneur as they face a new hospitality service is they will
discover new things that will help them improve running their business. Also, due
to this pandemic, entrepreneurs adopt new ideas and concepts on how they will
respond in a certain situation. Moving on, in every situation, there will always a
downfall that an entrepreneur must face. An entrepreneur is the only one who
manages their business that results in slow progress in work. They need to think for
themselves about how they will survive in a situation. Also, the funds are great to
deal with, because without it you cannot apply your new ideas.

2. What advantages and disadvantages would face the entrepreneur introducing an


imitation or copied hospitality service?
 Hospitality refers to the friendly and generous treatment of customers.
Hospitality services include fulfilling the customer’s needs, whereas hospitality
is the emotional connection you make with the customers. Service refers to the
action of helping or doing work for someone. Service industry refers to a type of
business that provides services or intangible products to customers.
Transportation, communications, insurance, real estate, food industry
(restaurants, cafes), health care, legal services are some examples of businesses
that belong to the service industry. These industries do not provide a tangible
product, rather provide a service or an intangible product. In the hospitality
industry, competition is normal, and the copying of their services because they
in the same field. This kind of event has advantages and disadvantages when it
comes to entrepreneurs. The advantages of this are they can improve the services
that will satisfy their guest and at the same time see what they need to add and
remove from the services they offer. On the other hand, the disadvantage of this
is the competition between the two businesses are they will experience to be
compared, and discrimination will take place if the other is not performing well
and it can close the business.
