Welcome to the Course!

I am Dr. Walaa Saeed, your instructor for this course of CPM 125 (Project Management
Principles) that runs from September 07th to December 17th, 2021. Course delivery will be
both synchronous (by meeting in a virtual Class) and asynchronous by working on multiple
learning activities.
TIME SCHEDULE: The time schedule of the class will be every Friday (9:30 a.m. to 1:20
p.m.). I will take attendance as per the College requirements, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO
ATTEND CLASS.
CLASS MANAGEMENT: Class will be divided into THREE sessions as follows:
1. Session 1: One hour to 90 minutes: Synchronous lecture, class discussions, and other
in-class activities.
2. Session 2: 90 minutes to 2 hours: Asynchronous, where you will go offline to work
on weekly homework, assignments, quizzes, and any other applied activities.
3. Session 3: Thirty minutes to one hour: Synchronous, where we will come back to the
virtual class to discuss the assigned topics / tasks and to answer any questions you
may have.
SECTION SPECIFIC INFORMATION (SPI): Please see the Course SPI (Course
Syllabus). You will find the topical plan and important dates to keep in your course calendar,
which will help you to focus on the course and tasks / assignments / quizzes / exams for the
weeks ahead. We will discuss the SPI in class on September 10th.
LECTURE SLIDES / MATERIALS: I will post the LECTURE SLIDES and other Course
Materials and Resources on weekly basis. Please read the Lecture Slides and other resources
before attending class.

 Attend class and ask questions.
 Actively participate in class discussions and applied activities.
 Complete and submit assignments and exams (BEFORE THE
DUE DATES).

and other materials.
 Look through the course syllabus to familiarize yourself with the
content of the course and dates of assignments / quizzes / exams.
