Aim of the Study :


The aim of the study of this residential project as a subject for the training report is to gain
knowledge of a better living environment, which is the first step towards building of a better
world.

Climatology

➢ Delhi's has an extreme climate.


➢ hot in summer (April - July) and cold in winter (December -
January).
➢ The average temperature can vary from 25oC to 45oC during
the summer and 22oC to 5oC during the winter.
➢ mate of Delhi is monsoon-influenced humid subtropical.

Precipitation

➢ Low precipitation during summer, winter.


➢ Most of the rainfall occurs during july and august.

CONCEPT
➢ Main concept of building planning is done according to vastu principals.
➢ Here the main concept of design is to give great flexibility and limitless comfort to the
client and to the user.
➢ The building has designed under the site direction and site sizes.

VASTU PRINCIPALS

➢ Primarily basement should be built in Northern or eastern direction of house as according to Vastu
principles there should be more space in east and north than south or west.
➢ Ideally a bathroom can be placed in Eastern portion of the house.
➢ The master bedroom should always be located in the Southwest part of the house as Southwest
represents the element Earth which implies the heaviness, which makes it as the ideal place for the
master of the house.
➢ West direction is ideal for children room and must be place there.
➢ The dining hall should be placed in Westcorner, as the setting rays will kill all the harmful bacteria
present in the stored food.
➢ Drawing Room should be in the east or north so one can get the morning sunlight and positive
vibrations.
➢ Over-head tanks take place in South-west because this place is considered unholy and heavy, thus
to balance the energies over-head tanks should only be located here. Avoid any other direction for
over-head tank.

Layout
• The main feature of the building is that it has swimming pool on its terrace.
• Mostly all the areas are best suited to Vastu principles & the Bye-Laws.
• The spaces are so well designed that all the areas get ample light & ventilation.

Planning
• Proper shafts & cutouts are provided for proper running of services & ventilation.
• Building is designed as per earth quake resistant.
• The application of bye laws are taken into consideration.
