CHAPTER 2

ABSTRACT

Conclusions showed that there were significant difference between modular and
traditional in general comprehension of students. Findings depicted that students
taught modular approach gained higher mean score in teacher made general
comprehension based test that students taught through traditional approach.

CHAPTER 4

CONTENT AND RATIONALE

Being a successful learner starts with having a positive attitude towards

learning. “Change is the only constant in life”, there word is according to Greek
Philosopher Heraclitus, amidst the pandemic many thing has change including
the students way of learning. The sudden change may affect the students attitude
and behavior which can also lead on not studying at all.

As some researcher saw that using a different in-differences framework

with diverse adoption dates per school, the result indicates that modular
education may reduce school dropout. Research has shown that student exhibit
negative attitude towards using module as their way of learning.

CHAPTER 5

INNOVATION, INTERVENTION AND STRATEGY

The study is intended to see how modular learning affect the students
attitude and behavior. This first chapter of research study summarizes about what
is the attitude and behavior of Grade 6 students in Pablo M. Conag Elementary
School towards modular learning, if it has an impact on the students academic
achievements. Previous research on the attitude and behavior of Grade 6
students in Pablo M. Conag Elementary School towards modular learning is
reviewed on the second chapter. Chapter three, acknowledges the people who
helped for the success of this research study. Chapter four is in the context and
rationale. Innovation, intervention and strategy is included in chapter 5. Action
research questions is provided in chapter six. Action research methods in chapter
seven with the participants and other sources of data information, and gathering
method. Chapter eight is the discussion and result and reflection. And lastly,
provide the action plan of the study.

CHAPTER 6

ACTION RESEARCH QUESTIONS

this pandemic become a hindrance of the students learning which now

affects their attitude and behavior that has a big impact on their way or learning.
The researcher will conduct a research in Pablo M. Conag Elementary School to

see the attitude and behavior of Grade 6 students towards modular learning. The
researcher will give some questions to the students which they can answer with
the help of their parents if needed. They have to answer it with full honesty so
that the researcher would be able to know if there are some changes with the
students attitudes and behavior in their modular learning during this pandemic.

1. What is the profile of grade 6 pupils in terms of age, gender, role in family
income and parents educational attainment?
2. How does modular learning affects pupil mental health?
3. How did pupils adapt the new normal way of learning?
4. What indication that the modular learning affects pupils attitude and behavior?
5. What might be the possibility of your attitude and behavior changes?

CHAPTER 7

ACTION RESEARCH METHODS

A. Participation and/or other sources of data and information

Selection of participants to remove the potential influence of external

variables and ensure generalizability of results. Participants are selected who
can best inform the research questions and enhance understanding of the
phenomenon under study. Decisions regarding solution are based on the
research questions, theoretical perspectives, and evidence informing the
study.

B. Data gathering method

Its purpose is to interpret the data and the resulting themes, to facilitate
understanding of the phenomenon being studied. It is often confused with
content analysis, which is conducted to identify the describe results.
This interpretation can led to deeper understanding of the results and to new
ideas or theories about relationship and/or about how and why the innovation
was or was not affective.
