Preface
This training program is written to provide exactly what needs to be learned to enter the
workforce. The program is providing a step by step training approach delivered by
industry experts and inspectors, assessor and instructors who have experience both in
industry and in the classroom. Their industry experience brings together knowledge of
welding and manufacturing, welding inspection and quality control, training, weld code
testing, power source design, troubleshooting, and customer service. Those collective
industry experiences and several years of combined instructional expertise assure top-
notch delivery of training based on this training program. This training program covers
the learnings units in a clear and concise manner. The program covers areas taught in
welding which include introduction to welding and to welding safety, weld processes,
and critical topics, such as codes, destructive and non-destructive weld testing, welding
symbols, welding metallurgy, welding ferrous and nonferrous alloys, and welding power
sources.
Acknowledgment
The training institute wish to acknowledge the generous support of many stakeholders
in making possible world class training in specialised welding and in offering national and
international certification of the program. The facility assures every stakeholder,
individual or institution who continues to collaborate and support in various ways, of the
cooperation and provision of world class welding training, examination, certification, and
testing of welders to national and global standards.
