Task 3
This task was about creating the list of colleges according to their NIRF rankings. The data
was compiled from the NIRF website.

Task 4
A list of 70 colleges were given which included the medical, engineering and Pharma
colleges. A thorough research and collection of data was to be done which includes the
rankings (NIRF based), courses offered, student strength, the recruiters(IT companies mostly
preferred) and the average CTC offered. The information for this task were collected from
various websites such as LinkedIn, college websites, Collegedunia.com etc.
A general observation that was made during the research was that medical college students
usually ends up doing internship in their own colleges and then later they go for either private
practice or for higher studies. Those colleges do not have the placement committees,
therefore the information regarding their recruiters or the CTC offered were not available.
The colleges offering pharma courses have an active placement cell as well as the colleges
offering engineering courses.
