Marketing Strategy

Marketing stratey is the marketing logic by which the firm hopes to create superior customer value and
achieve profitable customer relationships. It involves analysing the total market for Walton RAM, then
dividing the market into the smaller segments, selecting the most promising sectors, and focusing on
serving and satisfying the customers in the these segments. This involves which customers we will serve
(segmentation and targeting) and how we will create value for them (differentiation and positioning).

Segmentation
Segmentation means dividing the total market into the distinct gropus of buyers who have different
needs, characteristics, or behaviors, and who might require separate products or marketing progeams.
Here we dsicuss only about consumer market segmentation. It can be geograpghic, demographic,
psychographic, and behavoiral factors. Geographic: Both Urban and Rural Area across Bangladesh
(World Region in near future). Demographic: Different Computer Users including Entry level
computer users, Novices, Students, Freelancers.

Targeting
Targeting is a process of evaluating each market segment's attractiveness and selecting one or more
segments to inter. We target all the aforementioned segments, that is, different computer users including
entry level user, novices, students, freelancers.

Differentiation
Differentiation is a way of differentiating the comapany's market offering to create superior custoner
value. Here we differentiate Walton RAM. We focus on the low cost of Walton RAM, and after sale
service such as 2 month replacement guarantee, 2 year warranty. We will ensure faster after sale service
by Walton Plazas having every of 492 upalizas and and convenient locations.

Positioninig
Positioning is an approach to occupy a clear, distinctive, and desirable place relative to competing
products in the mind of the target customers. Our value proposition will be More for Less, i.e., giving
more features and qaulity product by capturing low price from customers in return.

Marketing Mix
Marketing Mix refers to a set of controllable tactical marketing tools that a company combines to
promote its brand or product in the market. This is basically 4Ps of Marketing- Product, Price, Place, and
Promotion. Here our our marketing mix strategy will revolve the product of Walton Ram. This deals with
the features and quality of Walton RAM including product levels, pricing strategy, distribution,
promotion etc.

Market-Penetration Pricing, i.e., setting s low price for Walton RAM in order to attract a large number of
customers and a large market share. Walton RAM will compite the markert by being Cost Leadership.

Place indicates the activities of the company that makes the product available to the targeted customers so
that they can easily purcase it to satisfy their needs and wants. This includes distribution channels,

Producer----->Walton Plaza/Retail Store-----> Customer

That is, our Walton RAM will be distributed through Walton Plaza across Bangladesh to our target
customers. We also distribute it through computer serving providers, i.e., different retailers. After
meeting the demand of domestic market, Walton RAM will be exported to various foreign countries. We
will make sure that there will be at least a dealer in every of 492 upazilas. We ensure convenient locations
as each Walton Plaza is located in upazila town.

Promotion
Promotion is a way to communicate the characistics of the product to target customers as well as to
persuade and remind them to buy the pruduct. This includes advertising, personal selling, sales
promotion, public relations etc.

through television and other electronic media by getting the sponsorship of some International Cricket
tournaments of Bangladesh. We will hire our Bangladeshi celebrities in the advertising to attract them.
