1. For best results print this page on a smooth 180 g/m2 210x297mm (A4) or 297x420mm (A3) sheet of paper PT

2. Cut along the solid outlines (and also along the black solid lines that separate the triangular tabs.) LE
3. Use a brown felt-tip pen to color the edges of the paper of each part after assembly.

4. Paste tabs with a red dot to the non-printed side of the same part (most are triangular tabs used to give the part a
rounded aspect). UH M

5. Tabs or areas with a blue dot should be pasted to the non-printed side of the indicated part. A
6. Use a small brush or thin spatula to apply and spread the paste. UH PN
7. Paste tabs with a green dot to the printed side of the indicated part. A Pronotum RE

8. Paste non-printed sides of tabs identified with a black dot to the non-printed side of the indicated part. UH LH AB Right Elytrum

9. Coloured tabs that don't have dots are pasted on their non-printed side. UH
10. Fold along dashed lines (they may be valley or mountain folds, sharp or slight folds). Lower Head LH

1. Build each elytrum (LE, RE) pasting the triangular (red) tabs to give it a rounded aspect. Crease the other (blue) PT
tabs (sharp folds). Wait till dry, then carefully paste the two parts together (green tabs). LH PN UH
2. Build the abdomen (AB) pasting the triangular (red) tabs to give it a rounded aspect, like the elytra. Then Upper Head
mountain-fold the green tabs, and valley-fold the lateral (black) tabs. AB
3. Build the head (UH, LH) parts. Crease the top (UH) to shape two small horns. Connect the halves by first pasting the A LH

lateral tabs (the eye), then when dry paste the two frontal tips (non-printed sides) together. LML PN LE

4. Build the pronotum (PN) and the prothorax (PT), but don't paste them together them yet. Valley-fold the printed Left Middle Leg LH

tabs at the back of the head, then glue the head to the shaded area on the pronotum (paste the bottom tabs first). RFL
Finally, build the thorax pasting the pronotum and prothorax together (start with the two larger tabs at the back

and paste the triangular at the front tab last, over the green shaded area.) LFL

5. Paste the abdomen to the shaded area behind the thorax. Then paste the first lateral tabs to the elytra, let dry,

and then paste the remaining tabs of the elytra to the thorax (use tweezers if necessary). PT
6. Finish pasting the elytra to the abdomen, keeping the abdomen's tabs near the edges of the elytra. Mandibles M

7. Assemble mandibles (M) and antennae (A) folding along dashed lines and pasting non-printed sides together. LH AB

Round them with tweezers then paste under the head where indicated. LE
8. Build legs (RFL, LFL, RML, LML, RRL, LRL), rounding the articulation and pasting together the non-printed sides. Use RRL
tweezers to give them a rounded aspect. Then glue them to indicated shaded areas on prothorax and abdomen. Right Rear Leg Right Middle Leg
9. Use a dark brown felt tip pen to color any edges and white parts that still appear.
