TOKorner website guidelines for writers

1. When referring to the blog, writers will use “TOKorner” and not “ToKcorner” or any
other variation.
2. To maintain a standard across all postings, all articles must use the “Georgia” font
(please use the “normal” size) and be labelled accordingly. Additionally, writers must
include at least 2 images or videos which can be coordinated with the design team to
make your work a tad bit easier.
3. The use of emojis or emoticons will be prohibited as to maintain a level of
professionalism.
4. Each post MUST be citied using the MLA8 format at the end of each post. A good
website for citing any work is www.citationmachine.net/mla8
5. (optional) writers should also add a location (like Mumbai, India).
6. Before finally publishing the article, please use the preview feature (it looks like an
eye on the top-right) to see how the article looks.

How to use the labels

- Before you finish the post, please add labels according to the writer’s name (for
example if the writer is Nishant, his label will be “Nishant Dhongadi”).

The technical team does acknowledge that this may seem like a handful but, in the future, it’ll
help us maintain a level of uniformity.

Thanks a lot!
