INTRODUCTION:
We use the present perfect and the present perfect
continuous for finished and unfinished actions.
Examples:
I have lived in England for 3 years.

I have been living in England for 3 years.
1 FIRST SITUATION
The present perfect continuous can be used to emphasise
the length of time that has passed, whereas the present
perfect is generally neutral.
2 SECOND SITUATION
The present perfect is commonly used when talking about
how much or how many. This isn't possible with the present
perfect continuous.
3 THIRD SITUATION
We can also use ‘yet’ and ‘already’ with the present perfect.
