Spoken Poetry Contest Mechanics

1. Objectives

The contest aims to increase awareness and appreciation of the Philippine Contemporary Issues, Economics, ASEAN
and World History. Spoken poetry as a performance art that is word based. It is written that is meant to be delivered
with emotions.

2. Participants

Open for Junior High School leaners who are currently enrolled in any public or private secondary school duly
certified by the teacher and School Head. School must be duly recognized by the Department of Education.

3. Scope

It should portray Philippine Contemporary Issues, Economics, ASEAN and World History.

4. Entry Specification

-One entry per SDO

-An original composition using Filipino language.
-Related to the topics mentioned, must be wholesome no malicious and offensive content
-Each contestant is given 3-5minutes to deliver his/her piece including introduction and effects
-Additional sound effects like musical instruments background is allowed to complement the delivery.
-Videos must be submitted in the region through (form, file etc…)
5. Criteria
