Aristocrat’s Walter Stowe Named President of the
Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers

Las Vegas, July 14, 2003: Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., the United States
subsidiary of global gaming leader Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL), announced
today that Walter Stowe, Aristocrat’s Vice President, Legal and Compliance, was
named President of the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM).

Stowe succeeds Bob McMonigle, the founding president of AGEM, who recently
joined Aristocrat as a full-time sales and marketing consultant.

“I am so happy and proud to serve as President of this prestigious association

that represents many of the key gaming equipment manufacturers,” Stowe said. “I
look forward to working with the other association members to continue AGEM’s
mission promoting the interests and concerns of gaming manufacturers and
operators.”

“Along with working to expand our membership, I am very excited about AGEM
taking a very proactive role in potential new gaming jurisdictions.” Stowe added.

Stowe joined Aristocrat in June 2002 as Vice President, Compliance and was
named Vice President, Legal and Compliance in October. He serves on the
Compliance Committee for Aristocrat’s global group of companies. Prior to joining
Aristocrat Stowe served as Director of Compliance and Associate Corporate Counsel

AGEM. “He and our other Board members will ensure that we provide a united voice
on public matters that are important to gaming equipment manufacturers and our
customers, and at the same time promote excellence in the manufacture of gaming
