projects at Madison Automotive Apprentices(MAAP), a 2-year capstone project, tasks with the
ECO club I was president of, and many projects in the engineering curriculum

PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Shell Eco-marathon: Drivetrain system owner and engine troubleshooter on a team of students where
we briefed professors on progress and seeked expert opinions on complex problems and design plans.
Worked closely with team members in charge of chassis, engine, data acquisition and mathematical model
to design and test the drivertrian assembly, subsystems and individual components. Continually tested
components and assemblies.

Human Powered Vehicle: Technical design from initial design requirements with client to beta prototype
testing with user with specific requirements and personal constraints. Gained hands-on experience with
fabrication and assembly techniques such as, welding, using the mill, lathe and drill press.

WORK HISTORY
Automotive Engineering Intern: Madison Automotive, Harrisonburg, VA 05/2019- 05/2021
● Restoration projects on vintage automobiles such as restoring a 1956 Porsche 356 speedster wiper
motor and meticulously cleaning and detailing suspension components.
● Design and fabrication of parts and assemblies for a 944 racecar
● Independent work where I researched and taught myself new concepts and techniques to
solve the problem at hand
