HISTORY MAKER:How To Live A High-Impact Life

TEXT: Matthew 26:6-13

Introduction:
 Welcome to our first topic in our SERIES: REMARKABLE “How to live a remarkable life?”

 Bakit ang dali natin silang (your favorite hero) nakilala? Because they made a great impact in the
history. They are certified history makers!
 History makers are those people that have made an outstanding impact to others.
 Let’s open our Bible in Matthew 26:6-13 and learn how to be a History maker.
6 7

 This is a story of a woman who made an impact and leaved a mark in the life of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Jesus himself said in verse 13 “I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout
the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
 How to make a testimony that will mark the history? What are the qualities of a high-impact life?
There are two components of “history making.”

I. Right CONNECTION
6 While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, 7 a woman came to him with
an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.
People who
add to their value.
 This woman connected her life to Jesus. Verse 6 While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known
as Simon the Leper, 7 a woman came to him…
Pag 120 volts
ang isang gadget at sinaksak mo sa 220 what will happen? Sasabog, masisira. Di gagana.
 But pag tama naman ang connection ito’y gagana and you will enjoy it’s benefits.
 The reason why you’re not enjoying life is because of wrong connections.
 The reason why you’re not reaching your full potential is because of wrong connections.
 Always remember this, High-Impact people have right connection. “All history makers have right
connections.”
 ILLUSTRATION; Bill Gates and his business partner (Paul Allen), Pacquiao and Fredie Roach. Jesus
and his 12.
 Ikaw, sino ang mga kasama mo? Kanino mo ba idinidikit ang buhay mo? Yung mga tao bang yan ay
nakakapag add ng value sa buhay mo? Pag kasama mo ba sila lalo kang lumalago at tumitino o lalo
kang napapasama?
 Most of the time, the quality of your connection determines the quality of your life.
 Always pray and look for “right connection” when you do business, ministry, and relationship.
 The greatest connection that you may have is none other than Jesus himself.
 Kaya tindihan mo ang devotion mo. Because the quality of your devotion determines the quality of
your connection with God.
 Hindi maganda ang connection mo kay Lord pag sablay ang devotion mo, cell life mo, at church life
mo. These are the best way
to connect to God.
 Start connecting to God and right people.

 This woman connected to right person. Ibig sabihin tama ang pinuntahan niya and pinaglaanan niya
ng panahon. And the second quality of a high-impact life is in verses 7-11.

II. Remarkable CONTRIBUTION

7 a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he
was reclining at the table.
8 When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. "Why this waste?" they asked. 9 "This perfume could have
been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor."
10 Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to
me. 11 The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. 12 When she poured this
perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.

 First, she connected to a right person and second is she made a remarkable contribution.
basta gumawa but yung ginawa nya ay may impact.
isang buhay o bayan. Ibig sabihin yung ginawa niya ay tumatak! Nagmamarka!
 Remarkable contribution will lead you to a remarkable testimony.
 Things that won’t challenge you will never change you. – Zig Ziglar
 Pag walang challenge walang change.
7
 The woman gave Jesus a very expensive perfume. a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of
very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.
 What is the most expensive thing you already gave to Jesus? Kung wala pa start doing and giving
great things for God. Believe me it will create an impact. I will create great testimony.
 Notice Verses 8 and 9 said, When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. "Why this waste?" they
asked. 9 "This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor."
 Chinkee Tan once said on his program Chink positive, “When people are trying to pull you down, it
only means to say that you are on your way up!”
 Take a closer look at verse 10, Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She
has done a beautiful thing to me.
God will vindicate you.
 By the way, What beautiful things you have done for God?
 Beautiful things that you will do for Jesus will result beautiful things in your life.
 I f given a chance to choose One of the great Activities that have high impact. DISCIPLESHIP
 Remember this, “It’s not your duration but your donation that matters most.”
 Friends, start doing great things for God.
