BLUEPRINT FOR THE DECADE AHEAD

Christ University was formerly Christ College (Autonomous) affiliated to Bangalore University. Established in
July 1969, Christ College became the most preferred educational institution in the city of Bangalore within the
first three decades. From 1990 onwards it scaled from heights to heights. By the introduction of innovative and
modern curriculum, insistence on academic discipline, imparting of Holistic Education and with the help of the
creative and dedicated staff, Christ College has been continually rated among the top 10 educational institutions
of the country.
On May 20, 2005, it became the first College in South India to be reaccredited with A+ by NAAC. UGC has
identified it as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in June 2006.
July 22, 2008 is the most glorious day in the history of the institution. Under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956,
Ministry of Human Resources Development of the Union Government of India, vide Notification No. F. 9-
34/2007-U.3 (A), has declared it a Deemed to be University, in the name and style of Christ University

KENGERI CAMPUS is a lush green land of 75 acres situated about 25 kilometers away from the MAIN
CAMPUS, 10 kilometers away from Bangalore University and 8 kilometers away from R V College of
Engineering towards Mysore Road. This modern campus with play grounds and other sportive facilities is the
hub of other Educational Institutions like Christ PU College - Residential and Christ University Faculty of
Engineering and CUIM.
The university was selected for the Best Campus Award by the
Bangalore Urban Art Commission for four consecutive years, 1996
through 2000. Well-maintained gardens and buildings, air-
conditioned Seminar Halls, Panel Room, Conference Hall,
Assembly Hall, Auditorium, Health Club, Kiosk, Hostel Facility
for girl students and all the requirements of an institute of higher
learning are the unique features of our university.

Ÿ No Registration Fee
Ÿ Eligibility for participating in the events: Postgraduate Management Students
Ÿ Papers are invited in the wide spectrum of Finance and Marketing apart from the
mentioned topics.
Ÿ Abstract should not exceed 500 words.
Ÿ Ensure that the paper is prepared in the IEEE format. All the papers must be
submitted in the Microsoft Word 2003/07 format.
Ÿ The presentations should be in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003/07 format.
Ÿ Maximum number of presenters per team should not exceed more than two.
Ÿ All the papers will be blind reviewed by the faculty members with respect to the
quality, originality, and relevance.
Ÿ The best two papers will be awarded cash prizes.
