1. What is your philosophy of teaching and learning as it relates to

curriculum?

I consider pragmatism as best philosophy because in this philosophy it

says that education should be teaching students the things that are practical for
life and encourages them to grow into a better people. It consider practical
consequences or real effects to be vital components of both meaning and truth.

In this trying times, we find solutions that education must go on, that this
pandemic is not a hindrance to educate our learners, that still they have the right
to learn and grow as normal, hence we have to motivate them to pursue in life
because some are experiencing discouragement and hopelessness as situation
is getting worse.

So, I can say that this philosophy is very important and applicable to our
present situation now.

2. How does your philosophy of teaching drive your personal and

professional choices?
Every educator has his own philosophy that drives on his or her
professional and personal choices. Being a good teacher knows and understand
students, how they develop and learn. I know that students actively establish and
transform their own knowledge based on past experiences and prior learning,
and I know that students do not all learn in the same way or at the same rate. I
believe it is my responsibility as a teacher to be an effective educator of students’
interest and abilities and prior knowledge.
That is why in pursuing my masters degree, I know that this course will
help me to be a better teacher, it will give me more ideas and expertise in order
to expand my perception in dealing with different students.
