    Welcome to MOG1006: Marketing Strategy

    Welcome to returning students and those of you who are just joining us for the first time,
    whether you a part-time or full-time learner to Cambrian College.

    Welcome to the Organization Management Post-Diploma Graduate Certificate


    Program, and finally, Welcome to MOG1006: Marketing Strategy.

    About Me
    My name is Professor Brian P. Vendramin, and I am also the Program Coordinator for
    Organization Management. Please reach out to me if you have any questions relating to
    this course or your program. Let’s start with an email, and if you wish, I am happy to have a
    15-minute ZOOM conference with you if you wish.

    Course Resources
    I will be using readings, simulations, and case studies from Harvard Business Publishing
    in a Coursepack, in addition, I will be using some of my own materials as well.

    Each person must purchase their own Coursepack, as the material is all copywritten.
    Students choosing not to purchase their own resources will not be entitled to grades.

    Here is the link to purchase your Coursepack. The price is $55.30 USD or approximately

    Hidden Resources
    You will notice that the two Case Study Assignments and one Simulation in the Coursepack,
    that will be used in the course, have been hidden until they are assigned.

    For those who are raring to go, please purchase your Coursepack and start reading the
    Marketing Reading: Framework for Marketing Strategy Formation for our class on
    Wednesday, September 8th as our first quiz is the next day, Thursday, September 9, 2021.

    Cameras On, Please


    Please, make every attempt to have your cameras turned on during our classes.
    I understand and respect that there may be extenuating circumstances, but please try to
    turn your cameras on, especially in Zoom Break-out Rooms.

    Scheduling Of Classes
    We have classes scheduled on Mondays from 08:30 to 11:20; Wednesdays from 08:30 to
    10:20 and Thursdays from 08:30 to 11:20. During those classes I will teach for up to 90
    minutes and leave time for you to work on your assignments as well as be available to
    meet.

    In Summary
    1. Please Purchase the Coursepack immediately from Harvard Publishing.
    2. Start reading the Framework for Marketing Strategy Formation for Wednesday’s
    class.
    3. See you Wednesday at 08:30, the Zoom Link is on top of your Moodle page
    4. Camera on, please.
    5. Be engaged. Learn lots. Have fun.
