I. It was confirmed that the covid virus arrived in the Dominican Republic on March
1, 2020.
II. A new electronic ticket is required for each entry and exit and the code generated
by completing the form can be presented at the airport on a digital device.

III. The Dominican Republic has local capacity to diagnose COVID-19 through the
National Public Health Laboratory and private laboratories.

IV. Test results are normally provided in both written and electronic form.

V. The Dominican Republic created a national hotline for questions related to


COVID-19 if someone has been exposed or is experiencing severe symptoms.
