1. NADIA, a happy country surrounded by seven countries, where INDHAR, is the headquarters
of the NADIA which has the homeof executives & bureaucrats with a trove of iconic art and
architecture. In INDHAR the NADIAN Museums house has ancient sculptures such as the
famed of Lutyens. NADIA is the world’s most populous country, known for its secular
practise.
2. On 31st December 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) detected a disease known as
COVID-19. As per WHO Corona virus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused
by a newly discovered Corona virus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will
experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special
treatment.  Older people and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular
disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious
illness. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the
COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from
infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching
your face.

3. The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose
when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory
etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow). At this time, there are no specific
vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. However, there are many ongoing clinical trials
evaluating potential treatments.

4. This pandemic disease has become so communicable that government of Nadia has to take
severe steps to control this disease. So the Prime Minister of NADIA has gone for meeting
with Council of Ministers and has decided to go for the complete lockdown with each and
everything for the break of chain of the disease as per the WHO guidelines.

5. After the announcement of a three-week nationwide lockdown was made on March 25 by

Prime Minister of Nadia, a large number of migrant workers were rendered without any place
to go or food to eat. These workers, spread across the country, were stranded in places they
migrated to go for work, but there was no mode of transport for them to travel back home.
6. Various media reports and video clips have emerged since the announcement of the
lockdown, showing fleets of these migrant workers taking on the arduous journey to their
hometowns on foot. It has been found that the fundamental rights of these workers under
Articles 14 and 21 are being violated, and that too, in the most heart wrenching and inhuman
manner.

7. Due to this inhuman act a PIL has been filed by GAKI in the Supreme Court of NADIA
seeking the directions to the Centre to take appropriate steps to alleviate the trouble faced by
migrant workers in the midst of the nationwide Corona virus lockdown.
8. Supreme Court of NADIA has accepted the matter and listed it for hearing on 3rd May
2020via online mode.
