When doing your FS Please Be Reminded of the Following:

1. Introduction: Create a good introduction that is completely related to the product


you are proposing, make sure this will be a statement that could support your rationale
at the end of your state the reason why and how did you come up in a decision of doing
this type of business proposal.
2. Do not forget to cite all your sources, remember all sources used in your FS must
be cited, meaning all statements, paragraph that does not belongs to you or something
which you did not create that comes from other sources must be cited. Use the APA
Citation format and examples We had discussed.
Remember paraphrasing is the key do not copy and paste, include all your sources in
citation including the date not older than 5- 10 years, most of you used according to,
there are other words you can use for citation, such as: as argued by, he contended
that. As contested by.etc do not rely only on internet sources you must include
dissertations, thesis and other relevant studies you may use in your FS
Remember this is a research, so the process and do not copy and paste!
3. Statement of the Problem must always be aligned with your title, it must include all
the questions under the 5 major aspects of the FS namely: Marketing, Management,
Technical, Financial and Socio Economic that will be answered by the findings and
conclusion, seen in the final Chapter of your paper. Title- SOP – Findings shall always
be aligned with each other.
4. Significance of the Study: Discuss to whom your proposed business will be beneficial
to.
Follow this format sample:

5. Scopes and Limitations of the Study: Do not forget to discuss the research scopes
and boundaries in this part, in case you have encountered problems that has a great
impact in doing your research please include that under the limitations discussion
6. Definition of Terms – do not forget to discuss whether you have defined the terms
operationally or conceptually. Make sure you arrange the terms alphabetically and
make it bold. Remember that you must only define important and hard to define words
in your FS and it shall be minimum of 10 words.
A conceptual definition tells you what the concept means, while an operational
definition only tells you how to measure it and how the term was used in the study.
4.Methods and Procedure shall follow this format
Methods of Research
Research Design: discuss what research design have you used
Respondents of the Study – it shall include the population record the original copy of
the population record you derived from your Locale and the vicinity map and the
distribution of your respondents, Categorize them demographically and
psychographically

Validity of questionnaire – the process on how you start creating your questionnaire to
validation until its execution shall be discussed clearly.
When you say that the questionnaire is validated it means that it was checked first by
your adviser and three experts in the field also it must undergo a pretest process, this
shall all be completed.

Data Gathering Procedure- this shall discuss the process by which you gathered data,
how was it done, the data gathering tool you’ve used how was it administered
including a blank sample of it, slovin formula calculation or a Rao soft calculator
presentation and discussion of figures used and tabulation of result shall be included
in this part

5. In research do not use first person pronoun such as I, You, Your, We, Us, remove all
of that in your paper you must only use THE, THEY, THEIR example: The Researchers,
The Proponents
6. In the Demand and Supply Analysis Include the formula and include an
interpretation and analysis, make sure you do the interpretation correctly as instructed,
and before you come up in an interpretation make sure to discuss first the importance of
demand and supply analysis and its corresponding parts
You must also include in your discussion why your product is feasible based on your
computation and make sure that you will be able to establish that there is a demand for
your proposed product.
7. Do not forget to include Competitors Analysis by highlighting your competitors
present marketing program you must atleast cite 5 competitors.
You must put it in a table, that table shall include your 5 competitors, those which you
mentioned in your survey questionnaire and their marketing programs so we can see
the difference between your marketing program and the marketing program of your 5
competitors

8. Project’s Marketing Program shall include the following


a. product description including a picture of the product’s prototype
b. Price and Pricing Strategy used – shall clearly be defined and discussed, you must
include a computation of how were you able to come up and decide on that specific
pricing strategy, make sure to include what pricing strategy would you adopt, must be
presented identifying total product cost and margin
c. Channel of Distribution- clearly discuss what channel of distribution you will be using,
direct or indirect channel
d. Promotional Strategy – used strategies that are applicable in the time of pandemic,
create samples and illustrations
e. Packaging: Discuss the important details of your package like what materials are to
be used, the dimensions and measurement of the package, and also the actual photo of
your package.
f. In terms of selling your product discuss how would you sell your product, terms of
sales location of the selling outlet, transportation and warehousing arrangement

9. Under the technical Study: make sure that your discussion in terms of the
manufacturing process as well as the process flow chart are aligned with each other

In terms of plant location do not forget to include a location decision matrix to establish
the desirability of the location, also make sure that this is based on the result of your
survey.

The rate pf your daily, monthly and annual capacity shall be aligned with the tools and
machineries you declared to be used under your technical study and also it has to be
reflected appropriately in your financial study.

In line with machineries tools and equipment in the table, under the description it should
discuss how it will be used in production not the description of the material like it
has four dimensions and all sorts of that,

10.SUMMARY OF FINDINGS CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION


This chapter summarizes and synthesizes the entire contents of feasibility study
showing the readers that the proposed business is viable. It contains 3 important parts
which are, summary of findings, conclusions and recommendations.
1.SUMMARY OF FINDINGS This provides answer to each and every questions raised
in the statement.
2. CONCLUSION: is the part of the research paper that brings everything together in a
logical manner. a conclusion provides a clear interpretation of the results of your
research in a way that stresses the significance of your study. A conclusion must be
more extensive and encompassing compared to a particular finding and, in the same
vein, various findings may be integrated into a single conclusion

3. RECOMMENDATION are used to call for action or solutions to the problems you


have investigated in your research paper. Your recommendations highlight specific solutions
and measures to be implemented based on the findings of your research

11. GO BACK TO YOUR ENTIRE STUDY AND READ EACH LINE CAREFULLY,
CHECK IF YOU HAD INCLUDED ALL THE NEEDED DATA IN YOUR PAPER IN LINE
WITH THE INSTITUTIONAL FORMAT, CHECK TYPO ERRORS AND GRAMMATICAL
ERRORS, SPACING, MARGIN AND ALIGNEMENT BEFORE YOU SUBMIT THE
PAPER
11. Survey Questionnaire Result shall be analyze carefully make sure it includes all
data needed by your study and it is aligned to the result you had generated
