Cogon National High School Math Teachers were invited in an extension project of the Department of
Mathematics and Statistics of MSU – Iligan Institute of Technology in collaboration with the ,
Department of Education – Region 10, in their “ Solving Techniques for Olympiad Math Problems:
Upskilling and Reskilling of Math Teachers.

It was a virtual webinar from February 2 to 5, 2021 via zoom participated by high school mathematics
teachers of Region 10 initiated by the competent and skilled professors of the College of Mathematics
and Statistics, MSU – IIT.

A three ( 3) day sharing of knowledge and solving techniques particularly in the Olympiad Math
Problems. It was a great opportunity to know the idea in having national or even international
competitions and an avenue also to LEARN and Re LEARN.
