B. BIAS OR PREJUDICE:
Students will identify the following scenarios whether bias or
prejudice. Clap one if it shows biases and clap twice if it
shows prejudices.
1. Not hiring someone because of their age or gender.
2. Assuming someone is a gay because of the way he
acts.
3. Bullying and discriminating someone with disability.
4. Accepting exclusive membership of clubs where
certain people are not allowed.
5. Posting negative comments in social media about
economic status of a family.

his/her group membership.
An individual may be prejudiced against others based
on factors such as;
1. Race - are you Black, White or Asian?
2. Age- young or old
3. Gender- Male or Female
4. Sexual orientation- LGBTQ
5. Class status- Rich, Middle Class or poor
6. Religion- Christians, Muslims, Jews
7. Nationality- Filipino, Americans
