REMEDIAL READING

I. STUDENT DEVELOPMENT
1. Administered Reading Assessment in all grade levels.
2. Conducted remedial reading every 4:00-4:30pm
3. Assisted students in their reading problem.
4. Students develop reading skills.
5. Students enhanced their reading comprehension skills.
6. Students who were under frustration were leveled up to Instructional readers, and those who were
instructional moved up to Independent readers.

II. TEACHER DEVELOPMENT


1. Participated in some Seminar-Workshop in Critical Content.
2. Initiated reading strategies to improve remedial readings.
3. Created reading book for frustration and instructional readers.
4. Recorded every improvement in reading of the students.

III. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT


1. Prepared reading materials / assessment tools for reading.
2. Used different approaches/strategies in teaching reading.
3. Prepared and accomplished school reading report.
4. Assisted / helped in creating an improvised book to be used in teaching reading.

IV. Other Related Concern


1. Helped in developing students ‘interest in reading books.
2. Encouraged peer tutoring in teaching reading.

2. Students who were under frustration were leveled up to Instructional readers, and those who were
instructional moved up to Independent readers.
3. Conducted English Week Celebration for the Independent readers.
4. Participated in School Improvement Activities.
