Answer:

Email and memorandums; Email is used for conveying information between workers and
outside of the company. Before email, memorandums were used to convey messages. Memos are still
used when the message needs more privacy than an email.

Business letters: These are used for communication required with individuals outside the company.
Business letters are sent to customers, service providers, government officials, colleagues in other
companies. The format is usually in block style with all elements of a letter aligned with the left margin.

Business reports: It is longer than a letter and it includes variety of topics. These reports include
statistics, charts, graphs, images and case studies. For periodic report, a template is used for
convenience and for comparison with previous reports.

Transaction documents: These are used when conducting business with clients. These documents are
formatted as a form, such as an order form, invoice or receipt for purpose of saving time. These
documents vary with the nature of the business.
