Creation of new item from Recommendation in MCR Application

Test Case: Create a Catalog item from Recommendation in MCR Application.

Role: SAP_BR_PURCHASER
Component: MM-FIO-PUR-REQ-OC1

Prerequisite: Recommendation should exist for the purchaser.
Test Steps:
1. Open Manage Catalog Item Recommendation Application.
Check
 Check that there is a list view with all recommendations with different status (New,
Confirmed, Rejected).
 Check that for all the items, the status update date is also mentioned.

2. Click on Item open recommendation(item) – In New Status


Check
 Check that User is navigated to Object page of catalog Item recommendation.
 Check that catalog Item Recommendation object page contains the proposed item
details like Item description, UOM, Material Group, price (latest price) along with the
item information.
 Check that when a user is navigated to Manage Catalog recommendation App all the
required data is filled.
 Check that it is possible to change the supplier and text information for the
recommendation.

3. Click on Create Catalog Item.


Check
 Check that it navigates to Manage Catalog Item object page.
Check that below information is pre-filled
Catalog web service id – “S4HGlobalCatalog”.
 Check that the item details maintained in Manage Catalog Recommendation Page are
prefilled in Manage Catalog Item object page.

4. Click on Cancel
Checks
 Check that it navigates to Manage Catalog Item object page.

5. Click on Save
Checks
 Check that Newly recommended item is saved.
