Fresh breath dog biscuit

recipe
Banish puppy breath with this fresh breath dog biscuit
recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup plain no sugar added applesauce
2 tbsp. coconut oil, melted and cooled
1 egg
1/2 cup Italian parsley, chopped
1/4 cup mint, chopped

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set
aside.
2. Add oats to the bowl of a food processor.
3. Let machine run for 2 - 3 minutes, until oats are almost flour consistency with a
few big pieces left.
4. Add flour, applesauce, coconut oil, egg, parsley and mint to bowl of food
processor.
5. Pulse a few times to break up herbs and move ingredients around.

6. Run food processor for a few minutes until dough looks uniform.
7. Sprinkle the countertop with a tablespoon or two of flour, then turn the dough
out onto the countertop.
8. Roll the dough out to roughly 1/8" thick.
9. Cut treats out with cookie cutter and place on baking sheet. Bake for 16 - 18
minutes, rotate tray halfway through.
10. Cool completely before giving to your dog.
Notes
Recipe yields 60 2" treats. If you use a smaller or larger cookie cutter, your yield will
be slightly different.
