1. Software required

a. Power Suite software provided on CD with the Eltek Equipment.

b. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 you have to be connected to internet in order to download this
software.

2. Alarms Commissioning Steps

Plugged the USB cable between PC and Eltek controller (this cable is provided also with the
equipment).
Start the Power Suite program and connect to the equipment.
You'll be promted with the following window...

Select the serial connection – Virtual USB, and click connect.

Then select Access – Login and input 0003 as passoword, this gives you service access.
Select Alarms overview, here you have 4 tabbed menus (Summary, Configuration, Outputs, Logical
Groups), on the Configuration tab we will discard some Mains related events (by default Eltek
generates the mains alarm for multiple events)

We will drag and drop the mains events from Mains alarm to Not Assigned like this:

Continue to drag and drop events until only Mains Fail-Major Alarm remains.
Next we will select the Outputs tab, on coontrol unit will be selected Smart Pack

All checked boxes will be unchecked in order to define (check) our alarms like this:

Mains alarm Alarm Output 3
Batt. Discharge Alarm Output 4
Fire detection Alarm Output 5
Door open Alarm Output 6
Next we will select the IO unit 1

And define the following alarms

High temp Alarm output 1

A/C failure Alarm output 2
Smart pack alarms output

Rectifier alarm Alarm Output 1 X1 5/6 Normal Closed

Low temp Alarm Output 2 X1 8/9 Normal Open
Mains alarm Alarm Output 3 X2 9/10 Normal Open
Batt. Discharge Alarm Output 4 X2 12/13 Normal Open
Fire detection Alarm Output 5 X2 15/16 Normal Open
Door open Alarm Output 6 X2 18/19 Normal Open
For the IO unit (IO Monitor) alarm output

High temp Alarm output 1 Output Relay 1

A/C failure Alarm output 2 Output Relay 2

For this unit the wiring will be made for normal open. On the IO Monitor unit you can select normal
open or normal closed by wiring the alarms.

All this 8 alarms will be wired in a krone module.
