External alarms – sites with indoor rectifier

List of external alarms that should be connected to rectifier:

 High Temp
 Earth leak alarm / Residual circuit breaker
 Surge protection / SPD
 Unlock door
 Free cooling filter
 Free cooling fan

Alarms defined in rectifier software (alarm output)

All alarms in table should be ticked in output alarm configuration menu in Eltek web software.
Connection between rectifier alarm card and Base Band

This should be UTP cable connected to Base Band that controls L18 (usually BBy) on port 1 but this
should be communicated with integration engineer.
Connection of Krone alarm block and rectifier alarm card
Setting output alarms on Eltek

Set output alarm as on photos above. Alarm output 1 should have ticked only MAINS failure, Alarm
output 2 only HIGH TEMP etc. Click on each of 4 alarm output 1, 2, 3 and 4 and change it to NORMALLY
DEACTIVATED.
Programming Eltek input alarm card

Click on EDIT button to define input alarm. All 6 inputs should be renamed as on photo above, form
Hight Temp to Free Cool Fan. ONLY active alarms on site should be ENABLE (ticked like below). For only
active – enabled alarms status will be active, green – alarm free, red – alarm active. Above example is
where all 6 alarms are enabled – exist on site and they are alarm free, no active alarm.

Setting of ProgIput 1.1

Rename ProgInput 1.1 to Hight Temp Room, set event of alarm by severity. Tick enable if alarm exist on
site, and set alarm Group from outputs, in this case High temp. Alarm group is logical connection from
output and input.

Set other inputs , all 6 by explanation above.
