1. The things you believe are most important in the way you live and operate are your core values.
Your and the community's priorities should be determined by your core principles. Your
community's core values are what help form its culture and support its vision.

3. Social justice exists; it is fairness as it manifests in society, which encompasses healthcare, jobs,
and housing. Social justice currently encompasses all facets of society, including race and gender,
and is inextricably linked to human rights.

 Women still make only about 80% of what men earn for a full-time job.
 Women are increasingly vulnerable to violence due to unequal legal rights. Spousal rape
is one of the most visible kinds of abuse against women in today's world. The recent
Indian judgement that rape laws do not apply to married couples exemplifies the sexual
oppression and violence to which women are still subjected.

 The local government of our community continuously practice the curfew whenever the

IV. REFLECTION
Human rights, gender equality, social equality, and participatory development are all discussed in
this lecture about the key values of community action initiatives. These community actions have a goal in
mind: to empower people to work together to solve social problems. As a result, essential values play an
important role in how we live and function as a community. Priorities and community priorities should be
determined by core principles. The community's goal is supported by core principles, which contribute to
form its culture.
